Winter Seminar Meeting FAQs
1) How do I register for the Winter Seminar Meetings?
To attend the Winter Seminar Meetings, you must be a NAPPA member with paid annual dues. Registration forms for the current Winter Seminar Meetings are available on the NAPPA website. Brochures are mailed to all NAPPA members December 1st, prior to the February meeting.
2) How much does it cost to attend the Winter Seminar Meetings?
The 2010 Winter Seminar Meeting fee is $395. There is an additional fee of $125 to attend the Senior Counsel Seminar. The Senior Counsel Seminar is limited to members with ten years of Pension Fund experience and/or General Counsel of a fund.
3) What forms of payment does NAPPA accept for the Winter Seminar Meeting fees?
NAPPA accepts checks, Visa & MasterCard for payment for the Winter Seminar Meeting fees.
4) What if I need to cancel my attendance at the Winter Seminar Meetings?
NAPPA's cancellation policy for the 2010 Winter Seminar Meetings is as follows:
Cancellation prior to January 8th -- full refund
Cancellation January 9th - January 26th -- $100 administrative fee
(all refunds will be processed after the Winter Seminar Meetings)
Cancellation after January 26th - no refund
5) What if I can only attend one day or one session at the Winter Seminar Meetings?
You can attend as little or as much of the Winter Seminar Meetings as your schedule allows. However, there is no reduced fee for partial attendance.
6) Must I stay at the hotel where the Winter Seminar Meetings are being held?
No, you do not have to stay at the meeting hotel. However, NAPPA encourages members to stay at the meeting hotel because a conference rate is available.
7) How do I become a speaker at the Winter Seminar Meetings?
To participate as a speaker at the Winter Seminar Meetings, contact a NAPPA Executive Board Member, the Administrative Officer, or the Chairs and Co-Chairs of the individual sections and express your desire to be a speaker.
8) How do I request future Winter Seminar Meeting topics?
To request future Winter Seminar Meeting topics, contact a NAPPA Executive Board Member, the Administrative Officer, or the Chairs and Co-Chairs of the individual sections.
9) How do I request copies of Winter Seminar Meeting materials if I can't attend?
Winter Seminar Meeting materials are available for a fee, contact a NAPPA Staff Member for more information.
10) How do I learn about dates and locations of future Winter Seminar Meetings?
Dates and locations of future Winter Seminar Meetings are available on the NAPPA website.
11) Are Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits available for attendees of the Winter Seminar Meeting?
The June Legal Education Conference provides more than the yearly required amount of hours for CLE credits, therefore, CLE credits are not offered for the Winter Seminar Meeting.
